Cable System Design Our cable systems are custom designed according to your exact specifications. By informing us of the hardware you plan to use, we will design a cable system to get you up and running today and to allow you to grow into tomorrow. We have extensive experience with Ethernet, Token-Ring, Twisted Pair and Fiber Optic cables. We can also use different wiring configurations to incorporate a variety of platforms, or bundle different signal types into the same cable. Cable Evaluations Taking advantage of cable that is already in place can be a major savings in the overall cost of a network. However, accurate records of the existing cabling system are rarely available. The cable type and length of installed cable is often unknown. CBI can perform full diagnostics on your cabling, can also identify any opens, shorts, or miswires, document the schematic design, and provide upgrades as needed.
